Finale is a Canadian apparel brand that aspires to bring coziness to athletic and outdoor clothing for all ages and genders. The brand’s visual identity complements their mission in promoting sustainability in the fashion industry.
Design & Rationale
Logo SystemThe submark is a combination of the cursive lowercase 'f' and the Segno symbol, an indication of repeated segments in musical notation, commonly found in symphony finales.
The one-line icon conveys the brand's commitment to educating their audience about the significance of sustainability in fashion, and the positive effects they could exert on the environment by consuming responsibly.
PatternThe pattern is an extension of the brand's submark. The diamonds separating each chain of the submark represent the two dots on the sides of the Segno symbol.
To visualise the brand's strategy of prioritising sustainability in the garment production process, the icon was arranged in a never-ending chain formation.
