Contemporary artist Félix González-Torres's spec artist book design.
The artist and activist's work is an archive of highlighted topics from the 1980s to the 1990s, including sexuality, gender, and the surge of the AIDS health crisis.

Title: Inspired by a common format of "'Untitled' (secondary title)" adopted by the artist in naming his pieces.

Spine: We drew inspiration from two of the artist's most iconic bodies of work
"Untitled" (Loverboy), 1989, sheer blue curtains hung in front of tall windows, and "Untitled" (Golden), 1995, with strands of gold beads hung in doorways.

Edge: Painted blue to resemble the piece "Untitled" (Loverboy), 1990, a blue stack of paper

The two halves of a piece named "Untitled" (Paris, Last Time, 1989), 1989 on the front and back end pages as a poetic attempt to translate the melancholy of the artist and his lover's separation due to death caused by AIDS.
